Faith and Obedience and God’s Word Series – Too Late

Series:
Passage: Genesis 6 and 7
Service Type:

Noah had faith in God.  He believed that God would send a flood and proceeded to build an ark to save his family and the animals on earth.  It took him 100 years to build this ark, but he did it.  He never gave up.  He saw the evil that was going on in the world, and he knew that God was going to flood the earth.  He never questioned God, he obeyed.

Jesus spoke that the last days would be just like the days of Noah; people would be going on with their normal lives, not even worried or thinking that a judgment day is set, only caring about themselves.  What are you thinking about today?  Where is your heart?

Esau took his blessings for granted and ended up losing an eternal covenant; he was filled with pride and cared only about himself.  He thought that he deserved blessings because he was the oldest son of Isaac.  What he didn’t know was that God looks at the heart; God deals with the heart, and Esau’s heart was far from Him.

Don’t take your salvation for granted; Jesus came to save and to seek those who are lost.  Do you believe in Him?  Are you serving Him just for the blessings or do you really love Him?

You are a sinner; without Jesus, you will go to hell FOREVER.  Put your faith in Him today.  He loves you and wants to rescue you from the grave, from the grips of hell.  You may not have tomorrow, so please repent today, right now, don’t waste a minute, or it could be too late.
