Noah showed faith and obedience to God, and his family was saved during the Great Flood.  Abraham and Isaac also showed faith and obedience to the Father when they were tested at Mount Moriah.  God spoke to Abraham to sacrifice his only son, and Abraham did not hesitate; he obeyed, knowing the God would provide a sacrifice, knowing that even if Isaac was sacrificed, God would be able to raise him from the dead.  That is the power of faith in God.

Who is your faith in?  Is your faith stronger in the reality of the sins of this world or in the sacrifice Jesus made to cleanse that sin?  When Jesus returns, he asks if he will find faith in this earth, not faith in the world, but faith in Him.  Will you keep going to the Promised Land of Eternal Life like Joshua did, or will you give up when you sin?  Don’t give up!  The devil wants you to stop having faith that the Father cleanses you of all unrighteousness when you repent and believe in the Lord Jesus.

Repentance is faith that Jesus can forgive you despite your failures.  Trust in Him today.
