God’s Word is powerful and effective, but it is made of none effect by unbelief.  Believe God’s Word for your life.  In Philippians 4, Paul exhorts us to keep faithful to the Lord, no matter the circumstances, rejoice!  Keep your faith in Jesus, and His peace will guard your heart and mind.  That is what makes us different from the world.  People see that peace in you, whether they realize it is Jesus or not, they know there is definitely something different about you.  That is the mark of a believer, the mark of Jesus, and His power working in and through you.

In the Old Testament, sacrifices were meant as a shadow to reveal our need for a perfect eternal sacrifice-Jesus Christ.  The power of His sacrifice tore the veil and opened God’s promise to all mankind, we can all receive the gift of the Holy Spirit when we believe on the Lord Jesus as our Savior.  Let me remind you, that unless you acknowledge that you are a sinner, you will never acknowledge your need for a Savior.  Think about that, let it sink in.  We ALL need JESUS.
