In this series, we are discussing how faith, authority and the power of prayer all coincide.  Whether you see it or not, the power of God is working in your life on a daily basis.  The new life that you have on the inside is a well-spring of life coming from the Spirit of God; it is through that power of the Living God that you can pray and affect everything here on earth.  You can affect your body, your family, your vocation-all with the power of prayer.

The devil wants to deceive you into believing that your prayers are not effective, that it is useless, but keep praying!  Be constantly in prayer, remembering that it is communication with the Lord, whether you are thinking, speaking, declaring-all of these are prayers to the Lord; so be careful what you are thinking and speaking because the Lord hears it.  He hears you.  He hears your complaints, your fears, your rejoicings, and your earnest cries.  He knows what you are going through, take your troubles to Him so that He can give you peace in your frustration and strength in your weakness.  He alone can turn around what is bad and make it into good, just surrender!
