Daniel 3 is the historical account of the three Hebrew boys who were taken from Israel to Babylon to serve King Nebuchadnezzar.

They were kidnapped from their homes, mutilated, forced to learn foreign customs of other gods-yet in all of this they did not deny Adonai.

When the king forced everyone to bow down to his idol, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah (a.k.a. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego) did not bow down.  They were even so brave that they surrendered their lives to God even if they would have died in the fiery furnace.  In that furnace came Jesus, the Son of God, to keep them safe and prove to the king that He was and is the Eternal King.

Believe in Him, surrender your life to Him, and He will be right there with you.
