Today is the second chapter called How Strongholds Get Started from Lee Thomas’ book Living the Exceedingly Victorious Life.

Maybe you’re wondering why certain things are happening in your life, and it might not even be your fault.  Do you have anger or bitterness or maybe just a hard time loving people?  Search your heart for any sin that could have set a stronghold in your life; be quick to repent before the devil can even create a stronghold.  It’s easy to tell people to repent and to let go of bitterness, but it is another situation when it has happened to yourself.

Sometimes things happen in our lives that are very humbling, even painful, but it is with a contrite heart that true repentance comes; and it is through repentance that revival happens.  Does your heart need revived?  Have you gotten stuck in a stronghold that is holding you captive?  Jesus wants you free, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
