The darkness of this world tries every day to drown out the light.  Bad news, uncertain futures, broken relationships, physical pains–they all seem to pull people into darkness instead of into light.  That is where we are different as God’s people.  Our focus must be on the Light in order to bring Light into the world.  So today, focus your heart and mind on the light; start seeing light in people instead of darkness.

God has a purpose for you; the enemy has tried to steal your purpose.  He uses distractions, condemnation, lies, hardships and troubles to make us feel like we have no purpose.  Stop listening to the enemy!  When you listen to the enemy and not to God, you can become spiritually dull.  Your heart can become hardened, and you can feel like you want to give up, but don’t!  Don’t give up!  God is still revealing His plan and purpose for your life.  Read His Word, be reminded of the prophecies spoken over your life; listen to His voice.  He is calling.
