We never know when we will be leaving this earth.  Our church family has had a couple hard losses this week, but we are also very saddened by the terrible flood that happened in Texas this week where many families, especially the little girls who were at Church camp lost their lives.  We are reminded by Jesus to go after the important things that last forever and not the trivial things of this world that do not last.

Kiss and embrace your loved ones today, but remember that making sure your heart is ready and their hearts are ready is the most important thing because some day we all want to be together in heaven.  Be ready.

In the last chapter of Living the Exceedingly Victorious Life, Lee Thomas guides us in his book through Scripture of walking in the Spirit which is the infallible key to not walk in the flesh.  Our flesh wants to be pleased all the time; we are to be living sacrifices to walk away from selfishness and pride and instead to walk in the fruit of the Spirit.  God wants to use you; desire His Spirit in you to live powerfully and effectively bring souls into the Kingdom.  Someone walked you in, will you hold the door for the next person?
